Job Title: Lead Business Project Manager
Job Responsibilities: As a Lead Business Project Manager I can clearly identify, prioritize, and coordinate process initiatives within my assigned area. I ensure work is assigned to positively impact the goals of my team as well as serve as a project manager of other teams driving successful and timely implementation of key processes.
Core Strengths: Excellent at providing leadership in working with users in defining project, resource and system requirements as well as ensuring that resources assigned to the project have all the tools and information needed to perform their project tasks. At times I serve as a leader in defining project scope and related procedures to ensure successful implementation. I also monitor issues across projects and assist in resolving project conflicts.
I have honed my skills and developed project planning and delivery expertise. My time is limited because I am stretched across multiple business critical projects.
I am very busy with various tasks and need more time to get all my work done between meetings and any issues that might come up during the day. I don't have the time to learn new software with my hectic schedule and have come accustomed to communicating through email. I always know what the overall goals of the project are, what other team members are doing and how my work fits into the overall project.
Smartsheet has been a powerful and comprehensive project collaboration tool, in which I can see the status, next steps, and decisions surrounding important matters. I spend very little time asking people for the latest status or the most up-to-date version of the project documents becuase they are stored in one central place. The best part is that I didn’t have to spend valuable time learning a new software program to realize its benefits.
