This is a guest post from Concur EVP Elena Donio, who is responsible for the creation of Concur Breeze, an online expense reporting solution for small business.
For the past week, we’ve been locked in a heated local tech battle with two other great Seattle companies, Smartsheet and Gist, who like us, make web-based software offered through the Google Apps Marketplace. We’re fighting to see who can sign up the most users the fastest (you can read more about the cage match below or on our blog) and the competition is pretty stiff.
What’s at stake? The losing company buys beers for the winning teams, donates $500 to the charity of the winner’s choice and provides the winning teams with a year of free service—not to mention having to live with the stigma of losing the Seattle tech version of the rumble in the jungle.
As a reader of the Smartsheet blog, you are clearly familiar with their great work management software, but you might not know much about Concur Breeze. If you hate filling out expense reports, or you are forced to track expenses manually with a spreadsheet, Concur Breeze is the answer.
Concur Breeze is simple, efficient expense management software for small business. Concur Breeze, makes tracking and recording expenses a snap, which saves time and takes the pain out of completing an expense report. Available via the web as a 30 day trial Concur Breeze enables anyone to create, manage, submit and approve expense reports, automatically.
We just announced that Concur Breeze is now available as a free mobile app for iPhone, Android and BlackBerry! People can create new expense reports, take pictures of receipts and attach them to an expense report, or manage, approve and track other reports all from their phone. Can your spreadsheet do that?
Between us, Smartsheet and Gist the competition is shaping up to be fierce! We felt it’s only fair to provide some background so Smartsheet blog readers know what the company is up against (we’re not a competitive bunch in the slightest!).
May the best company win!
