Just a quick note regarding last night's upgrade...
Safari (Mac and PC) and Chrome are now supported. If you login using Chrome, you will be pleasantly surprised by how quickly Smartsheet loads. If Safari is your browser of choice, you can now enjoy the enhanced look and feel that Safari natively delivers.
Smartsheet Reporting received a number of UI improvements along with a few bug fixes. If you are a subscriber and have not yet created a report - give it a try! Reports enable you to retrieve and filter information from any sheet to which you have access. Even better, you can update your sheet information directly from within the report.
For those of you who utilize date fields in Smartsheet, you'll like the improved date entry shortcut options. In any Date typed column:
- Type 't' for today's date
- Type 'yes' for yesterday's date
- Type 'tom' for tomorrow's date
- Type 'Dec 15' to enter 12/15/08
To turn off the date recognition shortcuts in a cell, simply precede your entry with a single ' . For example, if you wanted Jan 16 to appear, you would enter 'Jan 16
Enjoy.
