It’s the most wonderful time of the year – and also the busiest.  No matter what industry you’re in or the type of work that you manage, there’s no doubt you’ve got quite a bit on your plate this holiday season.  In particular, the retail industry is in full swing, decking the halls (or window displays) and offering seasonally enticing products and deals.

The holiday season catapults Smartsheet customer Magnolia Bakery into its busiest time of year.  From offering special baked goods to their customers tospecial promotions with the Radio City Rockettes, Magnolia truly creates a winter wonderland of holiday treats for their fans.

Which is why I am all the more impressed with Magnolia’s announcement yesterday that their third international bakery location has opened in Beirut, Lebanon.

Magnolia’s Project Manager Amy Tucker is responsible for coordinating the new store openings abroad.  Tucker recently shared with us the details behind the bakery’s international expansion plan and the integral role that Smartsheet plays in their growth.

Smartsheet is the organizational glue that ties together Magnolia’s franchise model.

Tucker and her international teams use the online collaboration tool for:

  • Location Scouting
  • Store Construction
  • Site Development
  • Product Development
  • Agency Coordination

And that’s just the beginning. The case study published earlier this week gives the full story behind how the bakery is using Smartsheet in all aspects of their company.

“Without Smartsheet, I couldn’t do this job.  It’s saved my life,” said Tucker.  “And as a company, we couldn’t grow without it.  That’s how important it is to us.”

And without cupcakes, I couldn’t do my job.

Congratulations, Amy and the Magnolia team!
