It's not often you get the chance to be a part of something transformative, but I was fortunate enough to be hired as a marketing intern at Smartsheet for a summer. On break from University of Hawaii, and fresh off a semester abroad traveling in Italy, I found myself in Seattle to gain some experience before finishing up my last year of college. I think it only rained once! Last week, three Smartsheet interns and I attended Startup Grind Seattle. Creativity and inspiration filled the air as business owners, entrepreneurs, and other enthusiastic individuals began to mingle on the scenic rooftop patio of the Galvanize building in the heart of Pioneer Square, in downtown Seattle.
