Smartsheet's Home Tab includes four Dashboard Gadgets to help you quickly review and edit important information in your sheets.
- Display the Dashboard - Click on Dashboard under your Home Tab to display the Dashboard window.
- Select Gadgets - click on the Select Gadgets link in the upper right to check or uncheck the gadgets you want to display in your Dashboard
- Move Gadgets - you can drag and drop gadgets to move their location or resize horizontally or vertically
- Maximize/Restore Gadgets- click on the icon in the upper right corner of a gadget to maximize the gadget to full size or restore it to its original position.
My Reminders
Display reminders you've set for yourself on rows in any sheet. Double click on a reminder to view/edit the full row information.
Recent Sheets
Get a list of the sheets edited in the last week, including who made the last update and when. Click on the sheet name to open the sheet.
My Favorite Rows
Track and update rows that are important to you.
- When in a Smartsheet, right click on any cell and select "Add to Dashboard Favorites" to add the row to this list.
- In the gadget, click on the row name to view/edit the row information. In the Edit window you can also add Attachments or Discussions.
- Right click to open the sheet or to remove the row
My To Do List
Quickly enter tasks which you can later transfer to any of your sheets if desired.
- Type in a To Do and hit enter or the plus sign on the right to add it
- Click on the check box to mark it as completed
- Place your cursor over the To Do to get options to delete it or move it to one of your sheets
