Smartsheet Launches Accelerators for IT PMO, M&A, and Professional Services

Proven enterprise solutions to solve mission-critical business challenges, quickly

BELLEVUE, Wash.,  July 17, 2018 - Smartsheet Inc. (NYSE: SMAR), the leading cloud-based platform for work execution, today announced the launch of Smartsheet Accelerators, a set of industry-proven solutions that enable customers to better manage work management scenarios for IT PMO, Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A), and Professional Services.

“Business leaders are under increasing pressure to deliver mission-critical initiatives on time and on budget,” said Gene Farrell, senior vice president of product for Smartsheet. “We saw an opportunity to create packaged solutions for specific, repeatable scenarios to make their lives easier. Smartsheet Accelerators are designed to help customers execute faster and be more successful with these high-impact use cases.”

Smartsheet is releasing three distinct Accelerators chosen for their ability to deliver immediate business value by leveraging best practices gained from insights across the company’s thousands of customers.

  • IT is an increasingly important driver of the business. The Smartsheet Accelerator for IT PMO optimizes the entire IT project lifecycle, from project prioritization through tracking, executive reporting, change management, and project archiving. The Accelerator delivers transparency, consistency and speed, with an easy-to-use interface that drives rapid user adoption.

“Our executives are completely wowed by the reports we get from Smartsheet,” said Linda Lauritano, Vice President of PMO for Motus LLC. “They like the focus on the path to green for projects at risk and they like seeing a summary of overall project health. Additionally, we’re seeing over $100,000 per year in savings associated with reduced churn and reporting overhead.”

  • Customer service managers will tell you that the onboarding phase of a customer relationship is critical. The Smartsheet Accelerator for Professional Services helps ensure success right from the start. Standardized plans, client reports and dashboards, consolidated portfolio reporting, and rich integrations with CRM systems like Salesforce help services leaders onboard customers effectively and on-time, every time. This ensures a better experience and helps increase lifetime customer value.

“The approach for deploying The Smartsheet Accelerator for Professional Services is incredible. This was the fastest software implementation I have ever been involved with in my career,” said Brian Vaughan, Senior Manager, US Implementation Services for Beckman Coulter. "We expect this to translate to a similar experience in terms of immediately recognizing value while implementing Beckman Coulter products and services for our customers.”

  • An efficient, standardized process can shorten the time to impact of a merger or acquisition by weeks or months, and the Smartsheet Accelerator for M&A helps close deals faster. Operational frameworks for evaluating acquisition targets, tracking pre-deal and deal due diligence activities, managing multiple workstreams and planning the integration allow M&A leaders to navigate a complicated, high stakes process as quickly as possible.
