FedRAMP, administered by the US General Services Administration (GSA), today announced that Smartsheet is one of four cloud service providers that have been selected for the FedRAMP Connect program. Smartsheet has been prioritized for participation in this program for FedRAMP authorization by the Joint Authorization Board (JAB) based on demand from agencies in the Federal Government.
The Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) is a government-wide program that provides a standardized approach to security assessment, authorization, and continuous monitoring for cloud products and services. To support its mission, FedRAMP has created a marketplace to increase the use of cloud services and facilitate collaboration across government agencies.
We are pleased to have been prioritized for the FedRAMP Connect program and look forward to beginning the process of having our platform authorized under the FedRAMP program and entering the federal marketplace. In the coming months, we’ll work closely with the JAB in pursuit of FedRAMP authorization. Please expect to hear more from us as we continue to move along the path toward certification.
