Why is the ENGAGE conference virtual this year?

Given the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, and the uncertainties around potential travel restrictions and policies on large gatherings, we have made the decision to change our annual Smartsheet ENGAGE customer conference to an online-only event. The virtual event will be held on Oct. 1, and recordings will be available following for on-demand viewing.

Will there be events in other timezones?

ENGAGE will be held on October 1 as a global virtual event from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. PDT, with sessions available on-demand after the conference. In addition, we are hosting special ENGAGE virtual events in EMEA and APAC in the weeks following.

What are the plans for ENGAGE’21?

We intend to host next year’s ENGAGE conference in-person in Seattle, WA in the fall of 2021. Updates will be shared on smartsheet.com/engage in the new year.

Do I need to register, and is there a cost to attend?

You do need to register with a valid company email address. There is no cost to attend this year’s ENGAGE virtual event.

Is there a call for speakers or are you taking suggestions for session topics?

We are not soliciting a call for speakers or topics this year given the shortened, single day agenda.

Will you be offering pre-conference training?

We have a shortened online agenda for ENGAGE this year and will not be offering pre-conference training as part of the conference. However, we do offer instructor-led, hands-on training classes year-round. Schedule and pricing can be found here.

Will you offer Smartsheet Solution Certification exams at ENGAGE this year?

Solution Certification is an in-person, proctored exam, and we are unable to offer this as a virtual or online offering at ENGAGE this year. However, we are in the process of redesigning the exam to make it available online and remotely proctored in the future. More information will be posted to our Certifications page in the coming months.

Where do I watch the opening keynote and general sessions?


Visit smartsheet.com/engage on October 1st to view the keynotes and general sessions. Breakout sessions are available exclusively on the Evia virtual platform. Registration and password required to access the breakouts. Your password will be sent via email by September 30th.

Are you sharing the presentation decks/slides?


YES! Presentation decks are available to download within each session page. In some cases, we’re not able to share the deck for legal reasons - but most sessions will have the slides available as PDF download.

Are you recording the sessions?


YES! Sessions will be recorded and available on-demand. You can access the breakout sessions on the Evia virtual platform thru October 31, 2020. After that date, select sessions will be available for viewing on smartsheet.com/engage.

How do I get my PMI credits?


Login to the PMI site to claim your PDUs. Search for “Smartsheet” in the course catalog or try this direct link at: https://ccrs.pmi.org/search/courses?kwd=smartsheet.
