Smartsheet Selected as GeekWire’s “Next Tech Titan"

Bellevue-based cloud leader recognized as a company disrupting the market through its collaborative work management platform

Bellevue, Wash. – May 12, 2016 – Smartsheet, the collaborative work management platform used by millions of people worldwide, today was recognized as the Puget Sound region’s “Next Tech Titan” during the 2016 GeekWire Awards gala. The accolade recognizes the technology company that is “on the cusp of making a very serious dent in the universe,” according to the publication. Smartsheet took the win over a strong lineup of competitors in the mobile marketing, biotechnology, business process management (BPM), and ecommerce industries. Past winners of the award include Tableau, Avalara, and Zulily.

The award adds to Smartsheet’s impressive list of accolades including product category recognition as Google for Work’s 2015 Marketplace App of the Year, and “Best Microsoft Office 365 App” at Microsoft’s World Partner Conference 2015 for its integration with Outlook.
 
The Bellevue-grown company has an extensive history of working with partners like Microsoft to facilitate a seamless product experience in the enterprise. Specifically, Smartsheet has a number of integrations in both Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft Azure cloud technologies, including OneDrive, Power BI, and Outlook. 

Smartsheet also works closely with Google, and was an initial launch partner for the Recommended for Google Apps for work program.
