In this session, you’ll learn how to bring data from external sources into Smartsheet. Additionally, you'll learn efficient methods for moving and referencing data within the platform. We’ll demonstrate an end-to-end flow, referencing a customer use case, so you can visualize how these tools can help you when you return to work next week!

Possessing a deep understanding of design principles and new technologies, James is dedicated to bringing clarity to complex challenges and is committed to ensuring seamless user experiences. After moving to London from Australia, at the tail end of 2022, James’s hobbies now include saying “football” rather than “soccer” and complaining about the weather.

Having spent the first part of her career in STEM Publishing as an Acquisitions Editor, Maria is enjoying the ever evolving, fast-paced nature of working in tech, and the laser focus on addressing customer needs. Maria’s understanding of user’s data import needs underscores her dedication to enhancing user experiences in this space. She is excited about the enhancements planned over the next 12 months that will hugely improve your interaction with data import and export tools in Smartsheet. Maria is the co-leader of the Women and Gender Minorities group for the EMEA region. She champions the importance of representation and equality, advocating for inclusivity that resonates throughout her work. Outside of work, Maria enjoys playing the clarinet in an orchestra, running in the English countryside where she lives, and traveling the world as much as possible.
