James has been with Smartsheet since 2022 as a Solutions Engineer, within the EMEA Commercial Solutions Engineering team. James is a Chartered Engineer who came to Smartsheet from a background of roles in research, development, and technical leadership within metallurgical engineering supporting cross-industry manufacturing programs in Aerospace, Energy, Medical, and other critical sectors. He was driven to us by his need to find sustainable solutions to the systemic issues he was seeing across these industries across the UK and Europe. After experiencing the pains first hand of not having a unified, capable platform for aligning collaborative work he now spends his days happily consulting with customers on the specifics of their own issues, advising them on how they can avoid the issues he himself faced, and empowering them on becoming agents of the change they want to see.

Kieran joined Smartsheet in March 2022 as a Strategic Solutions Engineer, within the EMEA Large Enterprise Solution Engineering team, having been a Smartsheet customer for the previous seven years. Kieran is responsible for leading Discovery-focused conversations with customers to understand current state processes, challenges and pain points, before creating a demonstration of the future state using Smartsheet. Prior to joining the Smartsheet, Kieran held several Head of PMO and Senior Project Management roles within the advertising and marketing space, holding Practitioner certifications in both PRINCE2® and Portfolio, Programme and Project Offices (P3O®), working with global brands such as Ford Motor Co., L’Oréal, Coca-Cola and Bayer Healthcare. Kieran has seen first-hand the power of the Smartsheet platform and how it can be used to increase the efficiency and collaboration of project teams, improve visibility of portfolio performance, and enhance the management of risks, issues and budgets, for both internal teams and customers.
