Scott Torrey is the Chief Revenue Officer at Smartsheet. In this role, he is responsible for leading all revenue-generating teams globally, which includes direct and partner-led sales, sales operations, customer success, and services.
Prior to joining Smartsheet, Torrey was the Chief Executive Officer of Payscale, where he led the company to a leadership position in the compensation data and software market. During his tenure at Payscale, he grew revenue by 60% in just 2.5 years.
His experience also includes nearly 20 years at SAP Concur, where he served many roles including running Customer Success and Operations and all internal operations that grew Concur from 400 to 4000 employees (HR, Facilities, IT, Procurement, and PMO of the M&A function).
During that time Torrey led the effort to secure a 15-year $1.5B award from the United States Federal Government The final six years at SAP Concur, he served as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) for international markets, where he was instrumental in scaling revenue into the multi-billions with a particular focus on growing the international markets by more than 1,200%.
