Manage seats with the Smartsheet MCP, now available!

System administrators can now manage Smartsheet seats through simple conversation with any MCP-compatible AI client, such as Claude. Ask for users with no activity in the last 90 days and get the answer instantly, without sifting through separate reports. Check how many open seats are available in your plan, then ask the AI to upgrade or downgrade one or more users — all with explicit confirmation.

Important — not on by default: This feature is generally available but is not enabled automatically. To turn it on for a customer, their account team (CSM, AE, or TAM) must submit a request via this form. This feature will not be gated indefinitely, Smartsheet plans to enable this by default across all plans at a later date.
