Smartsheet Selected as One of the First Google Apps Premier Technology Partners
Bellevue, Wash. – June 10, 2014 - An essential utility for coordinating work for more than 43,000 organizations, Smartsheet today announced it is one of the first ISVs to become a Google Apps Premier Technology Partner. To qualify for the Premier Partner status, companies must demonstrate higher levels of competency and performance in their ability to integrate their app with Google Apps Services, actively participate in product and technical programs, and have proven success with customers deploying the integrated solutions.
As one of the initial launch partners in the G Suite Marketplace in 2010, Smartsheet continues to enhance its spreadsheet-like collaborative tool to be optimized with Google Apps. In addition to having built-in integrations with Drive, Gmail, and Calendar and a hassle-free single sign-on, Smartsheet also recently announced it has integrated Google+ Hangouts so users can instantly start an instant messaging or video chat while collaborating with others in a sheet.
“With the new partner status, we’re looking forward to partnering even more closely with Google to drive richer product integrations for our customers,” said Mark Mader, president and CEO of Smartsheet. “As companies ‘Go Google’ and move to the cloud, Smartsheet is often one of the first cloud apps that gets adopted. With the workflow efficiencies realized from our combined tools, these customers continue to be some of the most engaged and profitable for our business.”
Organizations across 165 countries use Smartsheet to organize, plan and execute a broad spectrum of projects and processes, including marketing campaigns, product launches, business operations, events, strategic planning and HR initiatives. Among them are a growing number of organizations who are experiencing added efficiencies from using Smartsheet together with Google Apps, including GSA, Pearson, US Holocaust Memorial Museum, Extreme Networks, Cypress Grove Chevre, Pacific West Land and Center for Cartoon Studies.
