Smartsheet Unveils New Web Form Capabilities
Bellevue, Wash. – May, 7, 2013 - Smartsheet.com Inc., a fast-growing online collaboration provider, today announced significant enhancements to, and greater availability of, its popular web forms capability. With a new easy-to-use, drag-and-drop form builder interface and automated numbering of responses, users now have greater flexibility in how they gather, manage and take action on information submitted from online web forms. As a result, teams improve collaboration, streamline processes, and automate workflows.
“Smartsheet has quickly become a top choice for both small to medium-sized organizations as well as multinational enterprises,” said Mark Mader, CEO of Smartsheet. “Web forms have long been one of the most popular ways for our customers to gather information. The ability to both collect and act on information in a single tool eliminates the pain of sifting through inboxes and exporting information from one tool to another. The latest enhancements up the ante in usability and control.”
Smartsheet web forms can be embedded in a web page or cloud applications, or sent via email and accessed by a link, making them ideal for collecting data for activities such as help ticket requests, order forms, surveys, event RSVP details, creative briefs, benefit enrollment applications, and much more.
Stacey Hughes, Director of Advancement Information Services at Loyola University uses Smartsheet and its web forms capabilities to manage the barrage of incoming data requests into the department. "Smartsheet web forms have streamlined our department's processes. Now when people want data, they simply fill out a web form and we get all of the information we need the first time around. It's easy to assign a request to anyone on the team, and track what's getting done. Smartsheet is saving us time, fostering accountability and promoting a culture of transparency and respect."
