At ENGAGE 2026, our annual customer conference, we announced several new AI innovations, including an AI-native platform connecting strategy to execution, new agents and integrations, new security and governance capabilities and certifications, and new pricing model options, all aimed at the problem you describe to us more than any other: the distance between what your company plans and what your teams deliver.

AI has made individuals faster, but most organizations have AI in one place, their data in another, and governance as an afterthought. Leaders told us they find out work has drifted at the quarterly review, well after it’s too late: deadlines are missed, launch is delayed, and the money is spent. vsActual is our answer: an AI-native platform connecting strategy to execution. AI where your teams already work

You don't want one more place to log in. Smartsheet works wherever people already work: use Smart Assist inside Smartsheet, or the Smartsheet MCP server from Claude, Gemini, Copilot, ChatGPT, Amazon Quick, and other assistants, all while respecting user permissions. Customers have completed more than 50 million AI actions since February 2026, with over 100 million expected by the end of January 2027.

Teams also told us they spend too much of their week on status reports, data checks and project setup. Available today, Agentic Workflows put AI to work on a schedule. Set one up once, and it runs without you: any plain-language request, such as a weekly project summary, a recap of what’s changed or a check on risks and dependencies, each delivered automatically to the right people.

Specialized agents take on more complex work on request. People ask Smart Assist or a connected AI tool for what they need, and the right agent picks it up, with nothing to set up or manage and no catalog of agents to memorize. Available today:

• Creation Agent: Turns a plain-language goal into a working project, with sheets, dashboards, reports and automations built in minutes, so new work starts moving the same day.
• Data Quality Agent: Reviews sheets and returns issues ranked by severity, on demand or on a schedule, so teams catch problems before they become surprises.
• Automations Agent: Build automated workflows in Smartsheet just by asking, from Smart Assist or the connected AI tool of your choice.

Data that connects

Business data lives across dozens of systems, and AI that can’t reach it gives partial answers. We announced new integrations that unify those systems and let you ask questions about your data in plain language, so decisions happen faster.

• Native Integrations (available today): Simple, automatic data integrations to ServiceNow, Microsoft Dynamics 365, HubSpot, and Workday, with more releasing each quarter.
• Integrations Agent (coming soon to our Early Adopter Program): Starting with GitHub, Zendesk, Airtable, and Monday.com in EAP, and six more integrations to follow, Enterprise customers can pull data on demand from outside tools without custom software development, changing system integrations from a months-long project into a simple, one-sentence request. 

AI your IT team can govern

As AI takes on more of the work, IT and security leaders need proof that it is governed and that sensitive data is protected. We announced new security and governance certifications and controls so you can scale AI with confidence:

• ISO/IEC 42001 Certification: Smartsheet is now certified to ISO/IEC 42001, the first international standard for AI management systems, with independent auditors confirming our approach to managing AI risk, accountability and oversight meets the standard. 
• IRAP Assessment: An independent assessor confirmed Smartsheet security controls meet the Australian government’s benchmark for sensitive information, so public sector customers can use the platform for regulated work.
• Security Event Streaming (available today with Smartsheet Safeguard): Smartsheet has evolved Event Reporting to streamline the connection to security monitoring tools, so events are delivered in near real time, supporting more timely security monitoring and response.
• Data Classification (available today with Smartsheet Safeguard): Admins define their own sensitivity labels, such as General, Confidential or PHI, and people apply them as they work. An audit trail records every change. 

Pricing that follows the work

You gave us direct feedback on pricing: stop making me count users, don't make me pay full price for light users, and show me my usage so there are no surprise bills. The new model provides the option to move from seats to value. You fund work that gets done, not the people who log in.

We’re introducing a consumption model: a base platform fee plus flexible credits. You pay only for what you use, whether that is AI, automations, or connecting through public APIs. In the admin center, you get visibility into credit usage by plan and by person, so you know where your credits are going, and control over them, before anyone sends you a bill. And because Smartsheet is accessible from the AI layer, a teammate can run their own dashboards from an AI assistant without you buying them a license.

What that means for you:

• Visibility: every workflow, person or agent on one auditable surface, so you see where your credits are going and are never surprised by a bill.
• Predictability: one pooled credit entitlement you can forecast a year out, with no users to count and no true-up chase.
• Control: point credits at your priorities and adjust as they shift.

Over the past 12 months, we shipped all new Reports and Gantt Views, 100k row / Million cell Sheets, Table View, Portfolios, and Scenario Planning.
