You can now turn your data into dashboards instantly with the help of AI. Use natural language to describe what you’d like to create, select your sheets, and AI will handle the manual setup on your behalf. You’ll see charts with insights tailored to your request, giving you clarity without the time-consuming setup.
To get started, follow these steps:
- Create a new dashboard
- Describe the dashboard you’d like to create in the text box or choose one of the suggested prompts below
- Select up to 5 sheets as data sources
- Watch as AI generates a preview tailored to your request, with up to 10 widgets
- Click Confirm to build your dashboard and start editing, or click the retry button to refine your prompt and regenerate your dashboard
To enhance your dashboards further, you can now also add and edit AI-powered charts directly from the dashboard editor. When adding a new chart to a dashboard:
- Select the ‘AI chart’ widget type to start creating your visualization with AI
- Select a sheet as a data source
- Describe the chart you'd like to create, or choose from the suggested prompts
- Click on an existing AI-powered chart to edit it further

Note: Existing charts on dashboards created with the analyze data AI tool aren’t currently editable but will be in the near future.
