We then guide you in the setup of a Jira Connector workflow to import or export data to/from your sheet. Your solution also includes a report to summarize relevant data. This package is ideal if you need training and support in the configuration of your Jira Connector capability, including setting up your workflows. At the end of this engagement, you will have the skills and training needed to manage your Jira Connector solution. This package can be a great add-on service to other Smartsheet Professional Service offerings.

  • Guided setup of 1 Jira Connector workflow to connect the aforementioned sheet to the customer's Jira instance.
  • Creation of up to 1 report to summarize data.
     

Solution Training & Enablement

Preparing for the Engagement: 

Prior to Kick off: 

  • Work with your Jira System Administrator to establish the initial connection between Smartsheet and your Jira instance. Follow the steps outlined in this help article. Note: Completing this step prior to kickoff will allow us to get started quickly. This is a required step before you can begin using the connector.
  • Identify your Key Decision Maker and Solution Admin
    • Your Key Decision Maker is the individual who ultimately approves the solution design process and functionality. The Solution Admin is the person who will own the maintenance and make updates post-release. 
  • Internally align on your business goals and the objective of this engagement.
  • Gather relevant materials that outline your current process; examples could include process or requirements documents and/or templates.
  • Come prepared to discuss your timeline.  Understanding your dependencies, constraints, and preferred go-live dates will allow us to work together to formulate a plan.
