Registration

What is the cancellation policy?

Conference Passes

  • Cancellations received before July 1, 2019 will be refunded in full.
  • Cancellations between July 1, 2019 and September 15, 2019 will be refunded, minus a $500 cancellation fee.
  • Cancellations made after September 15, 2019 (2 weeks prior to the conference start date): We are not able to provide any refunds.

Optional Pre-Conference Training Fees

  • Cancellations received before July 1, 2019 will be refunded in full.
  • Cancellations between July 1, 2019 and September 15, 2019 will be refunded, minus a $200 cancellation fee.
  • Cancellations made after September 15, 2019 (2-weeks prior to the conference start date): We are not able to provide any refunds.

Optional Post-Conference Smartsheet Certification Exam Fees

  • Cancellations received before July 1, 2018 will be refunded in full.
  • Cancellations between July 1, 2019 and September 15, 2019 will be refunded, minus a $50 cancellation fee.
  • Cancellations made after September 15, 2019 (2-weeks prior to the conference start date): We are not able to provide any refunds.

I can no longer attend. Can I give my badge to a colleague?

You may transfer your badge to a colleague up to one week before the event at no charge. Contact [email protected] to request a badge swap.

I am having trouble registering. Can someone help?

Do you offer a guest pass for spouses or guests to attend the evening events?

We’re not able to offer guest passes at this time. Because this event always sells out, evening events and all other conference sessions and activities are limited to ENGAGE conference attendees only.

Are kids allowed?

All ENGAGE attendees must be at least 18 years of age, and officially registered for the conference.

Housing

Where is the conference being held, and what are the hotel options?

ENGAGE is being held at The Washington State Convention Center in Seattle, WA USA. We are pleased to offer discounted rates at these hotels, all within walking distance to the convention center. Room quantities are limited, so please book your stay directly with the hotel as soon as possible.

How do I change/update my hotel reservation?

Please contact the hotel directly to make any changes to your reservation.

What is the hotel cancellation policy?

Please refer to the cancellation policy as noted during the hotel reservation process. Cancellation policies vary based on which hotel you choose.

I want to extend my trip. What are my options to book additional nights at the hotel before and/or after the conference?

If you want to arrive early, or stay late, contact the hotel directly to check on availability and current rates outside of the official conference dates.

Flights

What is the closest airport?

Sea-Tac Airport (airport code SEA) is the closest airport, approximately 14 miles from the Washington State Convention Center and downtown Seattle hotels

When should I plan to arrive and depart?

We recommend arriving on Monday, September 30. You can pick up your badge, stop by the Smartsheet Innovation Center and/or schedule your Pro Desk appointment for Monday from 12:00pm-5:00pm. The conference concludes at 12:00pm on Thursday, October 3.

If you are attending the optional pre-conference training (additional fee of $399), we recommend arriving on Sunday, September 29, as the training will begin at 8:00am on Monday, September 30.

The optional Smartsheet Certification Exam (additional fee of $99) will be held on Thursday, October 3 from 8:00am-12:00pm (option 1) or 1:00pm-5:00pm (option 2.) If you will be staying for the exam, we recommend allowing at least three hours after the exam end time in order to catch your flight home.

Transportation

Is transportation provided to/from Sea-Tac airport?

You will need to arrange your own transportation to and from Sea-Tac airport. Taxis, Uber/Lyft, and Airport Shuttles are readily available. Rates typically average $50 for the 14-mile trip. Plan for 30 minutes drive time; up to one hour in rush-hour traffic.

Is parking available at the Washington State Convention Center?

The convention center has two parking garages. Maps and daily parking rates are available here.

There are also several parking lots and garages within a 4-block radius.

Meals

Which meals are included as part of the registration fee?

  • Monday, September 30: light refreshments from 12:00pm - 5:00pm. For those attending the pre-conference training, breakfast and lunch will be provided.
  • Tuesday, October 1: breakfast, lunch, and light dinner at the ENGAGE Welcome Reception at the convention center.
  • Wednesday, October 2: breakfast, lunch, and light dinner at the ENGAGE Party at Bell Harbor/Pier 66.
  • Thursday, October 3: breakfast. For those attending the post-conference Certification Exams, lunch will be provided.

I have dietary restrictions. What are my options?

Please specify any dietary restrictions when you register for the conference, including Kosher, Halal, or other specially-prepared meals that are needed. Vegetarian, gluten-free, dairy-free, and nut-free options will be available as part of all meal offerings.

Special Accommodations

I have an ADA accommodation. Who can assist me?

Will you have a room available for nursing mothers?

Yes, we will have private rooms available at the convention center for nursing mothers. Please note this request as part of your registration form and we will contact you with additional details.

Do you have a prayer or wellness room available?

Yes, we will have private rooms available at the convention center for prayer and wellness. Please note this request as part of your registration form and we will contact you with additional details.

Can I bring my spouse or children?

Conference attendees must be age 18 or older, and all require a conference pass for admittance. At this time, we are not able to offer a guest pass or +1 to the evening networking events.

Attire

What is the conference dress code?

Business casual for all daytime and evening events. We recommend dressing in layers as the conference rooms can run cool or hot throughout the day.
